First, a little history
I started in this game of computers and networking in the late 1970's. Ah, the days of only 4k of memory and a blazing 300 bps modem! To put that into perspective, my home computer only had enough memory to store about 1/4 of the page you are reading now. The modem was about 187 times slower than a standard 56kbps modem today, yet only a hand-full of people realized where this was actually all headed. A few more started to see the big picture when they logged onto their first BBS or on-line service during the 80's. Ask your current web designer (if you have one) what a BBS was in the eighties. I'll bet money that you won't get a correct answer, if you get one at all.
Welcome to the hardcore
I will not bore you any more with the details of the net, nor it's history. It really isn't necessary. Neither is me going on and on about my ability as a web designer, showing you everything that I've ever done. Let me stop you now before you ask me why I do not show off my work.
Would you like me to show your competition everything I've done for you? Would you want me to show them how your web site makes you money everyday? Do you want me to give them the insights to your business that you use everyday to make your living?
The bottom line is this: The web sites I develop make money. Everyday. Period. I sign a non-compete and non-disclosure agreement with almost every client. Has your web site designer(or whoever you use) asked you to sign any agreement other than the fact they want to get paid? No matter who you choose to develop your web site, make sure you have protection in place.
Knowledge IS power
What you absolutely need to know from me is that I'm one of the few who actually put into use the very latest in Internet Marketing(IM) techniques combined with the absolute best practices in Search Engine Optimization(SEO) to develop a web site that one can rely on to deliver it's owner their Most Desired Result(MDR), no matter what that MDR is.
What makes me different from most web site "designers" is that I have developed and continue to develop successful web sites everyday just for myself! What I learn from the constant learning and testing is put into place on every web site I develop. If your "web person" hasn't developed a successful web site for themselves, how can you trust them to develop a successful web site for you?
